PLIMB

Plasma Induced Modification of Biomolecules (PLIMB) Plasma Induced Modification of Biomolecules (PLIMB) is a plasma technology for oxidizing proteins in liquid solution for performing hydroxyl radical protein footprinting (HRPF), a mass spectrometry based technique for analyzing structural characteristics of proteins, protein complexes, and other biological molecules. PLIMB is a dielectric barrier discharge plasma which generates bursts of hydroxyl radicals a sub-microsecond timescale, which modify solvent accessible side chains of a protein in solution. The PLIMB reactor and ultraviolet spectrometry-based radical detection system for research and development purposes can be used at the following rates:

Internal: $10.00/hour

Federal: $15.60/hour

Commercial: $25.00/hour
